Book of the Week: Feng Shui Modern

This week I read the new book, Feng Shui Modern, from Cliff Tan, who runs @dearmodern on TikTok.

I enjoyed the book. I think it would make a great gift to anyone who has a new home or is in the process of buying one. I was about to make some mistakes mentioned in the book, but other people in my life were able to stop me. If you don’t have a feng shui master in your life, this book is the perfect companion. It also explains the foundations of yin and yang, ba gua, five elements, chi, and the five animals. These are things I’ve read about in wuxia novels, but I was ignorant of their origins. Feng Shui Modern helped fill those gaps in my knowledge.
