There’s no point in having 10 pruning shears if none of them are sharp. Garden Answers has a video on how to clean and sharpen pruners.

1. Disassemble.
2. Scrub after soaking in soap and water.
3. Lubricate with Oil after wiping off.
4. Reassemble.
5. Sharpen bevel side first. Remove burr on flat side.
